Go Purdue! Support Your Favorite College Team with Your Checks

Do you go to school at Purdue University? Are you a fan of college football and college basketball? Do you cheer for the Boilermakers? Do you have someone playing for one of their great teams? If so, then an extremely simple and affordable way to show your team pride is by purchasing Purdue University personal bank checks.

Founded on May 6, 1869, Purdue University has the largest student body of any other university in the state and is situated in West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue also contains the largest international student population of any public university in the entire country.

Purdue is a founding member of the Big Ten Conference, and is home to 18 Division I/I-A NCAA teams including football, cross-country, basketball, wrestling, tennis, volleyball, golf, and other sports.

Purdue’s men’s basketball team has an all-time winning record against all of the Big Ten schools. The men’s and women’s basketball teams have also won more Big Ten Championships than any other conference school.

Joe Tiller became head coach of the football team in 1996 and since then the Boilermakers have made a bowl appearance every year except in 2005 and 2008. Both Kickoff and Football News named him National Coach of the Year. He was also named the GTE Region 3 Coach of the Year by the American Football Coaches Association and the Big Ten Dave McClain Coach of the Year.

The Boilermaker’s home stadium is the Ross-Ade Stadium, named after benefactors David E. Ross and George Ade. It opened in 1924 and can hold about 62,000 people.

The Boilermaker Special, Purdue Pete, and Rowdy have been some of the school’s mascots. The Boilermaker Special is meant to look like a train and symbolizes Purdue’s engineering program. In 1887 Purdue’s official colors of old gold and black were adopted.

The Purdue University #1 Fan check series is for the devoted fans. These cartoon designs are for the fans that know all of the players by name, give interviews to the television crews, and turn off the television in disgust when the game doesn’t go their way. You know who you are!

You can also purchase Purdue University checks that show the official colors and logo of the Boilermakers. Both check series allow you the option of purchasing matching accessories like a coordinating leather checkbook cover, contact cards, and address labels.

Remember, too, that if you want to buy your checks you can do it over the Internet. Not only will you have more check images to pick from, but you can save as much as 50% off the price that your local bank might have charged you. There are really a lot of safe sites available that will not only save you a bit of money, but also get your checks to you in about 5 days. Not long ago, when you bought them at your bank, it frequently took up to 2 weeks to have them delivered.

Before you order Purdue checks, visit PurdueChecks.com to find coupons and to save 50% off your next order of Purdue University checks.
