In this article I would like to give my point of view about these package holidays to Cuba that are sold by big tour operators at a very good price. Cuba has a great appeal as a tourist destination for holiday seekers and one of its main attributes is its beaches.

There are plenty of alternatives in terms of beach destinations in this Caribbean island and the vast majority of them have international arriving point close by. To take an example, let us look at Cayo Santa Maria, this heaven of turquoise color beaches and white sand is a preferred among vacationers and has a small international airport located in Santa Clara province only 1 hour far from resorts.

In this location you can find pure relaxation and accommodation standards that range from 3 to 5 star hotels. There are few hotels in the area so you will never feel crushed by the crowds that can be found on any popular beach destination in the world. If you are traveling with your family Cayo Coco offers the possibility of accommodating kids but if you are looking for a hotel for adults only this resort can also suit your demands.

All of the hotels in this little island are all inclusive so you do not need to go finding restaurants or entertainment outside the resort. Excellent shows are presented by the staff of the hotels in their outdoor theaters at night or in the swimming pools during the daytime. Fishing, diving and all sorts of excursions are also available from the reservation desks in the lobby of each hotel.

You will not need to pay out a penny while staying in your resort. All of them have one buffet restaurant and at least 2 or 3 a la carte restaurants. A la carte restaurants have to be booked though through the reception of the hotel you are staying in.

Even though you have almost every thing you need in these beach resorts I always recommend you visit at least Havana or any of the interesting cities in Cuba that will provide you with a real insight of what Cuba is about. I mentioned at the beginning that these big tour operators have very good prices but they only specialize in beach holidays and if you want to combine centres then the package gets a bit pricy with them.

If you are looking to combine in your holidays beaches, history, culture and impressive architecture then get in touch with any of the smaller tour operators. They have very good contracts with all the service providers in Cuba and can put together whichever itinerary within the island you have in mind.

If you can not find any of these small tailor made holidays specialist I still recommend you visit at least Havana and in this case you can book an overnight excursion to the Capital or any other interesting City in Cuba like Trinidad, Santa Clara, etc. That been said it is time for me to say good bye at wish you a very nice stay in my beautiful and always warm island.
